South Wigston All Minds Matter Support Group

SWAMM is a drop in support group for anyone who has a mental health challenge. The group opened its doors at Elliott Hall in June 2018. They meet every Wednesday morning from 10.30 am till 12.30 pm. They meet, chat, play board games, arts/crafts, gardening or just enjoy a nice cuppa.

New model train group coming soon

Like trains, building tracks and models, then why not join us, have a cuppa, make new friends.  This new group starting at Elliott Hall very soon, this group is open to all ages. dad & son, grandparents and grandchildren etc.

New Dementia Support Group

New social art and craft drop in support group, ideal for people in the community with all kind of abilities. No need to book just turn up. Meets Friday 10.30 am till midday.
Cost £3.50 per person including all art materials. 
Carers go free

New Scalextrics and mecano group

New group starting soon, working alongside the train model club, come along and build new tracks and cars, build and make mecano sets, cars and more. This group is open to any age group. Great lads and men's group.

Our Men’s Sheds welcome older men who would like to use and share practical skills, tools and resources to work on projects of their own choosing. Whichever activities are pursued, the essence of a Shed is not the building but the network of relationships between the members.

Community garden

Elliott Halls community raised gardens are ideal for  any body wishing do a little gardening, from growing from seeds, planting flowers and vegetables. The gardens are open to any ages where people can meet and share skills and knowledge with others. We are encourage young people to become more involved and gain their green fingers. No time limit, open Monday to Friday. Refreshments will be available.

Over 50's men club

This group has been started for men over 50 to attend, you can have a chat over a cuppa while enjoying some old fashion games, discuss gardening tips, with chance to play indoor bowls, snooker and darts.
Pop along every Wednesday from 1 pm upstairs.

Step Out Youth Group

Step out youth group opened in 2006 is run by a group of trained volunteers. The offer and provide a safe and welcoming environment for the youth of South Wigston and even further a field. Giving them the opportunity to meet, make friends and take part in many activities. The group offers a tuck shop, a console computer room, snooker, table tennis and lots more hands on crafts and cooking.
The cost is £2.00 per session and is open to any child aged between 8 years to 16 years.
Opening hours are:
Tuesdays and Fridays from 6 pm till 7.30 pm
